They are capable of independent practise in a variety of settings. Their role will be tailored not only by their training but their clinical experience as senior practitioners. Clinical Administrative and Secretarial Staff

Clinical Administrators attend to patients on the phone and in person. They co-ordinate and organise appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the Practice and support delivery of quality patient care. They have a very demanding role and are there to assist you.  We ask you to be patient during peak times when the staff are handling a large volume of calls and enquires. They will ask you some personal information about your medical condition in order to ensure your call is dealt with by an appropriate clinician; and to assist fellow healthcare professionals who work within the Practice, in managing your health care and well-being. Patients for whom do not wish to disclose their conditions to our administrators, however, may complete an online Clinical Triage form.

All staff adhere to the Practice’s confidentiality policy and Data Protection Act 2018.

Clinical Administrators will administer clinical decisions and policies; they do not offer clinical opinion; rather they pass on the clinical decisions of clinicians. They may be asked by our Clinical team to gather information; and you can be assured that everything is treated with the strictest confidence.
