Subject Access Request
We’re happy to provide you with a copy of your test results after we have received the results from the laboratory and they have been electronically updated into your clinical journal.
This is classed as a Subject Access Request (SAR) under the terms and conditions of GDPR. The service is free unless deemed to be excessive and can take up to 28 days to receive. We do, however, try and turn these requests around very quickly and ask:
- That you are the patient or;
- You have documented formal consent to receive as a 3rd party
- You understand it can take 2 – 3 days for the results to be received
- We will NOT process requests in advance of a test
- Providing an email address and mobile telephone number significantly speeds up the process
